Pintail Point grows a diverse variety of crops on 700 tilled acres. Our crops include corn, rye, sorghum, soybeans, winter wheat and alfalfa. The largest portion of our crops are used to feed our dairy herd and game and the remainder is sold for grain.

Dairy Farm

Pintail Point was founded as a working dairy farm and that proud heritage continues today. All ages will enjoy seeing our world class, registered Holsteins and state-of-the-art dairy equipment.

Pintail Point Dairy is home to 80 registered Holsteins that produce approximately 1.8 million pounds of milk each year. Each cow produces approximately 9 gallons per day! The milk is sold to Land-O-Lakes for redistribution into fluid milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, ice cream and other products for sale to the public.

Our lineup of Holsteins offer a pedigree with depth on both maternal and paternal lines with a proven performance for type and production of milk and protein. Frozen embryos from the best genetic stock are sold to customers around the world. Bulls from our high-profile cow families are available for sale and female livestock can be purchased privately from the farm or at consignment sales throughout the year.
